Welcome

I started care giving for my grandmother about a year and a half ago when her moderate dementia proved to be too much for her to handle on her own. Soon I found that she was uncharacteristically energetic for her age and condition and the advice on how to care for a family member with dementia never quite fit either. Also, as draining as the relationship is, she is quite funny, which is why I wish to present to you the humorous side of the disease (if you don’t take time to laugh, you’ll spend every minute crying) and offer my advice based on my own experiences.

  1. I’m sorry I didn’t fully realize your blog until last night. I know you were bummed upon me unveiling this truth to you. So, when I came home early this morning and before I went to bed for the night, I made it a point to check it out. I enjoyed reading your blog from the introduction to the most recent comics and reading the stories behind the comics. From reading your blog, I learned more about dementia, about coping and assisting someone with dementia, while also enjoying a good laugh throughout. I think your work here is truly extraordinary but you also know I am always in support of you and the work you do because I believe in you. Keep up the great work!
